Toxic environment - Anonymous employee Groove Jones Employee Review

Upon hiring I was pleasantly surprised that there were more women at this job than I had seen at other tech companies I had worked at. I enjoyed having less of a male dominated environment, but quickly realized most were put in positions to promote their company like tradeshow girls and given questionable responsibilities. Today I was told by a former coworker who is still with them that there has been predatory behavior by management in the workplace. I hope this serves as caution to anyone looking into the company. Apart from this being a huge elephant in the room, I wouldn't recommend working here as many are overloaded with unpaid OT, weekends, and bad direction.
