Occasional long hours, not too bad.
Pay doesn't always feel like it matches the value you may bring.
Sometimes high expectations by people that have no direct involvement with your team/work.
Changes to the company that involves your team feels like it's always kept quiet until rumors spread. (Nothing over the top, but makes you think with the lack of complete transparency.)

Cons
New President of Delaware Life is cutting costs without even realizing the importance of people's positions in IT. While the VP's are staying, the workers are getting the pink slip. It is only a matter of time before people realize the errors in their ways.
