Pros

. Highly Structured Environment with concrete and measurable company goals . Very competent, knowledgeable and coercive Management team . Dedicated Employees that don't give up . Great Employee parties . Employee Stock Option Plan . Fair and competitive Salary and Compensation packages . Well located for employees to travel to . State of the art facilities with indoor parking for employees . I especially loved and took advantage of GTechna's Gym facility in their state of the art Headquarters in St-Laurent QC . Low turnover of employees . Some of the most highly motivated and intelligent people I've ever worked with

Cons

. Very busy place, so sometimes the work is overwhelming . Need a Product Manager to structure the product road map as there are a lot of great ideas tneed to be executed . There is lots of travel involved if in Sales department because that's the nature of the "beast" . Tight budget controls means that some positions don't get replaced immediately if vacated

Pros

Excellent technical leader. Very supportative and with extense technical knowledge.

Cons

The Professional Services team may be a suitable environment for junior professionals looking to add an “Implementation Consultant” or “Project Manager” title to their CV. However, experienced implementation professionals should carefully evaluate whether the delivery culture aligns with established best practices. In my experience, middle management lacked practical background in software implementation, business systems analysis, and structured project delivery. This resulted in decision-making that prioritized speed over quality and process discipline. Core implementation fundamentals — such as proper requirements gathering, structured validation, stakeholder alignment, and adequate testing before delivery — were often minimized or bypassed. Authoritative project oversight without hands-on field experience. Delivery practices that conflict with industry standards. This environment may work for individuals early in their careers or new to implementation (which is the case of most of the consultants -called field Eng. at Gtechna). However, seasoned implementation consultants, business analysts, or project managers who prioritize structured methodology and quality outcomes may find the culture misaligned with their professional standards.
