Pros

Guardian was once truly a company with a conscience and meant it when they said "We do the right thing". Hard work and ability were rewarded (though it did help to know or be visible to the right people). Long tenure was valued and actually rewarded, and in many cases co-workers felt like family. It's still a stable, financially secure company.

Cons

Over the past few years, changes in top management have eroded the culture of the company. There is currently no one in upper management that came up through the company - previously unheard of. Employees are no longer valued as an asset, but rather seem to be looked upon as a debit item.

Pros

Flexibility, excellent work life balance, casual environment, easy to use PTO. Benefits: health, dental, STD/ACC, vision, 401k are excellent

Cons

Pay is much below the standard for the position, raises and bonuses are minimal and hardly reflect the effort that is required to maintain positive metrics/meet goals. Case managers' responsibility is at a max and we often feel overwhelmed by the workload and expectations of management. Case managers are often responsible for tasks outside of the important things that have an effect of the claim
