Pros

Work from home job was nice, members and providers were nice when they weren’t frustrated by the poor service from this company. People I spoke to were genuinely grateful that I would actually take the time to help them.

Cons

Switched over to guide health and everything changed after being told it wouldn’t. However had consistent issues with the manager the whole time. They now only care about meeting metrics. I was harassed for over a year with no access to my benefits. I was penalized for medical appointments, never got a day off that wasn’t sick time related. Manager requested things that were illegal (made aware by my drs) such as detailed letters and my appointment time and how long it lasted among other things. I could only request the time of my appointment off, not a whole day. I was lied to about my benefits from management. Retaliated against when I tried to ask about my benefits because of the consistent unfair treatment and request a meeting,Told I couldn’t use my personal time to use the bathroom. We couldn’t speak to each other as employees with management in fear of chatting about the unfair things happening. Time off is FTO but they only approve their favorites and will make excuses for you saying “everyone’s situation is different” even if you are in the hospital. No response or support from HR. Webcam will randomly be on ( had this with multiple reps and they wouldn’t answer questions on why). Long time to get get help that you will be penalized for, given wrong answers on ALOT of info, advised we could do things we couldn’t, you will also be penalized for that , we weren’t able to spend time helping members or providers on issues they have had for sometimes a year, we had to get them off the phone or “pend” the call but then would get in trouble for pend log list. Mandatory meetings during lunch that we just started getting paid for.very negative company, will only speak of the negative things that you do and will never applaud the positives.if the specific manager wants to target you she will make sure to cover her a** by getting everyone involved when you request a meeting. Will search your calls to look for the one negative thing to fuel her unfair treatment. The calls aren’t bad it’s the company and this manager, effects your mental health, physical health and will create a hyper vigilance situation. Can go on but I won’t.

Pros

Since joining Guidehealth, I have truly never felt more empowered to make a difference in healthcare. From our CEO to Executive Leaders to my Senior Director, the culture here is phenomenal. Leadership practices what they preach and they value their employees feedback, often seeking feedback. If you are looking for an exciting yet wonderful organization to join, you will NOT be disappointed!

Cons

None at this time - great culture!

Pros

I have never worked for a company where I’ve felt so appreciated. For a remote job this place does such a great job keeping people engaged and feel like we’re part of a team. The culture is unlike anything very supportive and positive. All hands are on deck all the way up to the top. Great flexibility for appointments, time off you name it. With this being a newer company things are consistently developing and they are open to employee suggestions or feedback which is unheard of. Good benefits, PTO, pay and flexibility.

Cons

With things being consistently developed changes are inevitable so being flexible is impotent. Supervisors do their best to ensure you’re not overworked and will make sure there’s a balance. No current bonus system in place but that doesn’t mean there won’t be one in the future.
