Cons
Since Guidehouse acquired Grant Thornton’s public sector, the company has laid off thousands of highly capable employees — often without any clear explanation. Many of these individuals were top performers, only to see their roles reposted shortly after, which feels both dishonest and exploitative. What makes matters worse is the lack of clear guidance or direction from senior management. Communication is vague, leadership is largely absent, and decisions appear to be driven by short-term profit rather than long-term vision or employee well-being. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for people who have contributed meaningfully to the organization. Guidehouse seriously needs to reflect on how it treats its workforce and the culture it's creating.
