Pros
Generally nice team and fairly good salary for a graduate job. My project manager was great, really supportive and cared about our team.
Cons
Salary is good until you realise the hours that you are expected to work. Normal working hours are 9-5:30, however, if you leave before 6 you get dirty looks and most stay until about 7pm (plus start at about 8:30am). No work life balance, even asked to work on weekends/bank holidays when this was not previously agreed. No real respect for their employees. All a facade with free alcohol etc but no support for employee growth. Turnover is really high, either from employees leaving after only a few months or being fired. Response to Covid-19 has been poor. Tried to keep it a secret that they weren't doing well by coming up with 4 week performance reviews and then firing people halfway through these due to lack of finance. Unnecessary stress placed upon employees, should have been truthful from the beginning and could have furloughed. Nasty and competitive atmosphere outside of your immediate team. Management only care about your numbers as an associate and not about any extra work you may be doing to cover for people. Associate work is pretty mundane, same thing day in and day out. Good as an initial role but you have to know how to spin it in interviews going forward.
