Pros

close to grand central. odd comradery between employees because everyone is equally miserable. friendly and intelligent colleagues.

Cons

Guidepoint is a thankless, stressful and unhealthy environment to work in. The Research Analyst/Project Manager/whatever-management-has-spent-too-much-time-and-resources-on-deciding-what-to-call-it-this-week position sounds appealing but it's the job of HR to write ads that seem that way when in reality it is not at all. The lack of structure, management and support in this company is simply astonishing. low base salary. no chance for career development. long hours both in and out of the office (i-banking hours for a McDonald's job). a sales team that provides no support once an account is secured/doesn't even understand what it is that the company actually does (shouldn't they know what it is that they're selling?). strong emphasis on face-time. no flexibility to work remotely for any reason.

Pros

the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

Cons

Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
