Pros

Small company, staff can get along well with each other, convenient location in CBD and near train station

Cons

Disengaged management fixated on politics, decisions were made on a whim without regard to the staff involved in the processes, internal and external stakeholders were not engaged (eg. Those with pharmacy expertise were only involved at the end of the development process and their recommendations ignored), no one holds the company accountable due to association with the Pharmacy Guild, lack of transparency of privacy and confidentiality to consumers.

Pros

Office Location, is OK. Salary, wasn't too bad. The industry is interesting and the Products/Services are beneficial to society. Some colleagues were genuine and effective.

Cons

Staff Turnover - The Machiavellian nature of this workplace leaves no-one untouched. The fact that in the last 6 months at least 10 people have left really says it all. I am genuinely surprised that a company the size of GuildLink is still functioning, given the rate of staff turnover and subsequent loss of IP and momentum. Teflon Coating - some employees can do no wrong and are untouchable. Everyone else gets shut down for trying to fix a problem or improve a process. Lack of Direction - senior leadership can't make a strategic or brand/ product decision and stick with it. Everything GuildLink does is a reaction to a competitor or an ill conceived notion.

Pros

Good location and nice office

Cons

-Senior Management are too busy fighting amongst themselves to lead the company. - Communication is non-existent -Experienced people are hired but then told how to do their jobs rather that let them get on with it. - Senior management are in over their heads and reliant on consultants to tell them how to run a company. - Experienced and once passionate employees became frustrated and left. - Low pay and practically non-existent benefits unless you need counselling (and to be honest if you work at this place - you probably will!) - The extremely high staff turnover says it all really.
