There is retaliation, even though there isn't supposed to be. There is still the good ole boy system in place in a lot of the departments, especially in the departments that are hands on the aircraft in production and customer support. A lot of no communication flow from management down. Business is cyclical so they will hire a lot of people, and then turn around and let a lot of people go through a RIF. The RIFs happen at least every 6-7 years. They had one in 10/19 and just had another in 5/2020. Lot of older people that had been working there for 15+ years were let go. I understand that COVID was part of the reason for the lastest RIF.
