Pros

4 Day work weeks are nice Benefits are not too bad schedule is consistent

Cons

Where I work there is no opportunity for advancement. (Same job for 4 of 5 years of employment) There doesn't seem to be a true concentration on accountability where I work. There is no regard for what can be done with the current manpower. Upper management believes it can just throw OT at an issue and make it go away. There seems to be no real concentration on a healthy work balance.

Pros

-Work in an air conditioned hangar! -All the tools and support needed to do the job -Excellent training available -Good safety culture -Fairly easy work -Lots of opportunities to grow

Cons

Big corporate politics at times. Some people just love to point fingers. Rules that are very excessive due to incompetence, instead of just firing morons.

Pros

Gulfstream is a good company, I would come back to it. Can be a fantastic work life balance. PTO and benefits are decent. Can be an excellent career builder if you have connections and play your cards right. They can pay for your masters. Self-starters are rewarded and recognized,

Cons

-Ultimately, your experience heavily depends on your specific group—and some can be incredibly profane and toxic. If you are trying to implement an improvement but it doesn't agree with leadership, you can be harassed. -You might find yourself fourth in a long line for a position that only opens once a year; many jobs already have a person picked before they are ever posted. This isn't new information.
