Nice colleagues can be a thing here.
Cons
Well, lack of respect for software and code quality. Expecting a demo in a few days times at last minute notice during a holiday period is going to incur the ire of many (especially with the cancellation of leaves). But not only that, expecting new features to be done and demonstrated to stakeholders at such a short period of time is unrealistic unless management is willing to sacrifice code quality and testing; and I highly doubt they would accept responsibility of such a thing for a demo.
