Pros

Awesome support when I initially joined. At the time, even the "President" of the company met with one of my reluctant clients in the corporate office to assure him that the company was a great place. It felt like my old firm when I first start 20 years ago. I am able to call individual back office help directly, rather than going through an endless call center phone chain. HUGE GDC payout schedule, compared to employee firms. Not too many middle managers trying to justify their positions by constantly hounding you for worthless meetings. Compliance works WITH you, not in an adversarial manner.

Cons

The tech is a little behind the large employee firms. But if you're resourceful, it is no problem once you get yourself familiar with the systems.

Pros

If you've come into this company in the last year or so, its a ton of work and a ton of fun. There's so much that needed to be fixed from former workers who didn't know what they were doing. They people that stayed are hard working and have the best culture and are happy that the creeps and stay-in-your-office all day managers are gone. There are actually people who know the answers to our questions now and don't ignore issues that are really a problem. We have townhall meetings every month and the President tells us everything that is going on, good or bad, which I have never had at any other place i've worked.

Cons

There's too much change, we need some calm. Every department has had people fired. There are still people who don't want to work as hard, but we need to try and save them or ask them to step it up instead of just getting rid of everyone. The advsiors are old as dirt and probably will not use half the things we are doing. Some departments are still able to whine about having to work 8 hours per day and 4-6 weeks vacation which is a joke because they are the worst workers. There are no more raises which is terrible for the good people.

Pros

Great benefits, Friendly coworkers, wonderful internal events committee, community service opportunities. Everyone tries to help their fellow coworkers in the home office. The company makes you feel like you are welcomed, wanted and appreciated. When the President of the company walks by and tells you they are so lucky to have you on board....THAT'S the personal touch that I appreciate.

Cons

Employees that have been at the company longer tend to avoid changing their day-to-day operations. If new rules are to be installed, it takes a while before everyone takes part.
