For the location, pay/benefits will surely take care your cost of living and more, Company held events for their appreciation to the employees each year. Clerical staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons
The building is enclosed with no windows and ventilation makes it wither very hot or very cold. Depending on which department you work at (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural etc,), it can either be a great place to work at or a nightmare. I was not fortunate. Everyday you can hear your co-workers bad mouth about you, even if they’re whispering since it’s close quarters with no soundproofing. I tried ignoring those remarks and but it got to the point where I loss the motivation to succeed in my job. There’s vast pay difference between departments, where some have to work 10x harder to get the same pay as others, with similar years of experience in their respective field, due to profit margins. You can tell who has to work lots of overtime justify their pay and scrap little profit from every project.
