Pros

Shared misery with some great people.. you really do gain some great friends throughout the treacherous experience.

Cons

Where to start! Lying, manipulative boss. A workload that could give you a stroke. No hope.. no light at the end of the tunnel. You beg and beg for help and/or voice your concern about your teammates lack of resources to get their job done and your department struggling and always get a simple response that halo isn’t “adding headcount”.. like that is the only option or answer? but that is never the issue with the 5 new managers starting every Monday taking the new hire tour. Halo focuses too much on the false show of “halo is so great and everyone LOVES working here!” The only people that is true for are the people posting those phony adds/posts/emails, etc. Halo promotes the WRONG people to supervisor positions.. inappropriate people for that matter.. make them take an HR class if you are going to promote “joe-shmo” to supervisor so they learn what information they can and cannot share with other employees. FIGURE. IT. OUT. Everyone is blind except the regular employees sweating to get the job done every single day. Oh and I just found out there are some other employees in my department who get bonuses?! Haha who knew... wow halo.. just... wow.

Pros

No clue, didn’t have a chance to experience anything positive.

Cons

HALO lured me away from a great job for a remote opportunity while touting their incredible growth and new leadership. Within one month I was shuffled between two bosses and then informed that my position was eliminated when I joined one of my weekly check-ins. I am a parent of two children and a homeowner now without a job. They refuse to pay out anything more than two weeks of severance due to my tenure - which is less time than a hiring cycle would take if I found a job on day one of my search. An immoral company that refuses to do anything the right way or take any responsibility for their actions. Your severance “standard procedure” shouldn’t matter when you screw someone this severely.
