Pros

Being fully remote offers a lot of flexibility but difficult to manage when Clients and team members are in all different time zones. Opportunity to learn about many different industries and product types. Lots of opportunities to be creative and have fun with product and brands! Exposure to large brands and Clients allows to network and learn about other companies. Team is full of highly talented people, lots of information sharing and education. No day is ever the same, lots of different products and Clients to work with. Events and tradeshows can be exhausting but fun!

Cons

The dynamic between AEs and in-house HALO employees is challenging. AEs are "always right". Sales leadership does not have any control or direction of their teams. Allows for too many disrespectful & unprofessional AEs. Business suffers because they are not trained properly. Some very good AEs to work with, but they are infrequent. Overall IT systems are outdated and underserviced. Simple tasks are 10x more difficult because of this. We could spend more time being merchandisers and increasing sales if we didn't have to jump through so many hoops. No strategy from CEO only "growth". CEO communicates only with AE community but pays little attention to in-house HALO employees. Layoffs occur too frequently.

Pros

No clue, didn’t have a chance to experience anything positive.

Cons

HALO lured me away from a great job for a remote opportunity while touting their incredible growth and new leadership. Within one month I was shuffled between two bosses and then informed that my position was eliminated when I joined one of my weekly check-ins. I am a parent of two children and a homeowner now without a job. They refuse to pay out anything more than two weeks of severance due to my tenure - which is less time than a hiring cycle would take if I found a job on day one of my search. An immoral company that refuses to do anything the right way or take any responsibility for their actions. Your severance “standard procedure” shouldn’t matter when you screw someone this severely.
