Disappointed - Marketing Coordinator HDR Employee Review

I was stuck. When asked about promotion and salary increase to match my capacities for a year, I was continually met with a "will be discussed later" or "we can't do that right now". When I was told there was no opportunity for me to advance until others did (keeping in mind, my advancement would NOT affect their title, role, or responsibility), it was met with a no. Time I was there, I receive no constructive criticism on things I needed to improve upon, just "keep doing what you're doing". I left confused, hurt, and really let down.
