Pros
Management seems to understand how tough this job is and treats employees well. Fun occasionally enters the workplace, where you never see in corporate world. Employees on the floor are supportive and very much care about giving the best service possible. Punishment is fair and sparing. Expectations are reasonable.
Cons
Communication about the information you are to provide service on is often limited. Same office politics anywhere else, but I've heard of much worse. Lower management has been up and down with pettiness, but generally fair. People are actually really great, but the job is very stressful. Many of the mortgage adjustment products raise payments beyond affordablility, time frames push people into bad positions.
