Pros
Despite the size, HERE maintains somehow a startup spirit, where plenty of initiatives are started up. This is cool. Not always positive, though, as without a proper strategy most of these initiatives just gets stopped cyclically. Good work life balance.
Cons
Too many failed attempts at differentiating line of business expanding into new markets have ended up in a constant reorgs and downsizings. This brought down the general mood in the company. Leadership systematically fails to address the need to create a strong and positive company culture, and to set in place *consistent*, long-term goals properly leveraging resources and capabilities.
