      Pros

      They are a tried and true teamwork type of company. You will never not have someone come up to you at 5PM asking if you need any help before they leave for the day. My peers genuinely care about me in the workplace and wants everyone to succeed as a team, which is something new to me. A lot of the employees at the company have been working there for years, which proves loyalty, although most of which have families so a lot of people are "comfortable" here. Flexible work hours - if you have nothing to do, you can go home. There are people that come in after 9AM, which is fine with everyone. Nobody is there to babysit or micro-manage you. You get your hours in and your work done, that's it.

      Cons

      You are constantly churning out last-minute projects for Nike. Unfortunately, none of which are actual creative work - lots of resizing images, creating decks and moving things into production. There's no challenge. Some of upper management plays favorites, which can determine how much more work you have to do compared to your colleagues. If you're hoping to make friends in the workplace, this company is not for you. As mentioned, a lot of the employees have families, therefore this is not a "true" agency atmosphere. Happy Hours after work hours are nonexistent.

We did recently make some big changes to our PTO program.       Pros

      -Some fun, engaging personalities that don't take life or their job too seriously -Dogs, liberal drinking policy, loose hours for PMs, tons of Nike work -Exposure to a large, innovative global brand (and the jerks that run it)

      Cons

      -The work here is NOT creative. If you like production work, have at it. Otherwise, steer clear. -Time-logging system for creative is borderline illegal. The expectation is that you only bill hours if you are working. They basically make you hang around without getting paid. Complete crap. They bill design at $100/hr but pay most designers under $50k. Year-end incentives are directly tied to how much time you log. A system designed to screw Nike and make Deke tons of money. -Moving up is based on personality and kissing butt, not skill. If you are a sorority girl type, you could find a comfy job with little stress and tons of comped outings to nail salons and happy hours. Fun if that's your thing. -DO NOT FALL FOR DEKE'S HALF-BAKED ATTEMPTS TO MAKE YOU FEEL VALUED. HE MIGHT EVEN TAKE YOU TO HAPPY HOUR. TELL HIM TO SHOW YOU THE $$$, NOW!
