Disorganised - Accountant HERMEQ Employee Review

The teams are full of nice, hard-working people.

1. Benefits are very, very basic. And they have no intention of changing that. HR will tell you that benefits are being reviewed - it's a lie. 2. Management is unorganised and unprofessional. There is a real blame culture at Hermeq. The senior leadership team is more interested in finding someone to blame for mistakes rather than focusing on solutions. However, if you manage to become friends with the CEO you can do no wrong. Favouritism is alive and well in this business. 3. Virtually no onboarding. You are thrown in at the deep end. Forget about receiving any help or support from your manager ever. 4. Communication across the business is awful. Important information are withheld and it's almost as if some teams are working against each other rather than together. Again, this is due to management. 5. There is an expectation of being available after hours and on weekends. 6. They will tell you that you need a "start-up mentality" to work there, that just means that everything is done quickly, cheaply and badly.
