Pros

If you're salary, the benefits package (health, dental, retirement, etc.) Is good and the work-life balance is better than if you're hourly.

Cons

The work load and environment will vary so radically based on where you are. For example, in E81 engineering it's very much 40hrs/week and when you clock out, you clock out. But, if you work in E85 or other 'production end' engineering, overtime because basically forced on you. Pay is definitely less than competitive in many areas, even if you're working overtime as most salary positions get something called 'premium time' which is basically 75% of your normal wage instead of traditional time and a half when over 80hrs in a biweekly period.

Pros

Remote Work, Flex Schedule, Benefits are decent enough.

Cons

It is very much a boys club between management, leads, and HR. HR is there to protect the company, not you. The moment you have something crazy happen (and you will because most people in positions of power are old retired navy guys who cant even work a computer usually and would rather praddle on about "the good ole days") and you report it to HR, you immediately will be retaliated against, even when HR says you wont. Its tough to say how you wont when they immediately inform your supervisor. I also hate how they are an "inclusive" company, and yet I have been called more slurs and received more backlash for being LGBT when its not even being presented, I just want to log in, work, ask questions, log off.
