Pros

Personally I see lots of good facts to work on HRsmart: - It's an international company, it makes you open to different cultures and different way of thinking. - With time you will notice how your communication with remote team members will increase. - Chance to travel and experience how work is done in the main office or other offices around the world. - Time Flex, coming late to work then staying late at night is an option. - Timezone difference; it's quite challenging to find the good timing for meetings, interviews, training with offices in different timezone - Working from home option is somehow very relaxing in days were you are not feeling good or well to get dress and work to the office. - I like how there's no restriction to talk with higher management people, everyone can talk to any manager needed in any office. You don't feel like there's this hierarchy were you should be aware if you are talking with a high post manager.

Cons

- There's no cash bonuses concept. I think cash prizes (maybe once a year end of year) would be very nice from the company as a thank you for the employee. - I think there should be more open high level positions in the remote offices. - Also I think a place to relax, enjoy conversation, play darts, just something fun maybe while discussing a work related subject could be a good add to the office.

Pros

Flexible work scenarios - working from home. Deltek integration project has been near flawless - our family in VA listens and responds to our legitamate work needs to ensure we are in sync and providing an exceptional "product experience" for our clients.

Cons

Leftover "HRsmart-istic" tendencies. Departments show fractures and some signs of segregation / attitudes of eliteness. An lingering viewpoint (not Deltek)..that some EEs time is less valuable than others, thus their opinions do not receive the same level of attention or priority.

Pros

It was a great company a few years ago. You got career opportunities, the people was always kind and the general mood was good. The software side was always kinda crappy, but other factors helped to ease that. Individual developers cared about that and tried to solve the problem. Sales... was just sales. You were able to learn (by yourself, but you could). Sadly, the money flow seemed to stop due to awful management decisions and the company is facing massive layoffs, salary reductions and late payments. You won't be able to do anything else than maintaining a dead code base (or trying to sell it)

Cons

1- Historically awful management. Unskilled, paper-pushers and power-hungry individuals get promoted exclusively. They take important decisions without the slightest knowledge of the matter. Skilled people is starting to be demoted or just laid off because they're problematic, or just too expensive. 2- Bad management decisions stopped the money flow after a relatively long time, powered by the recession. Their main product is broken, totally outdated and is being quickly replaced by competitors. 3- No more good mood anywhere. Everyone is paranoid about being laid off, or being overseen by his/her direct manager. You can't have an honest discussion about the simplest workday problem with anyone. 4- Laying off people doesn't get work out of your plate. You'll be required to do overtime every single week.
