These people truly care for you as a person and want you to succeed. A lot is on the person to absorb their advice and build it into your own recruiting approach. Kevin breaks information down to a very understandable level and encourages discussion. The detail beyond the job description gained during the in-take calls is extremely valuable in being intelligent when talking to prospective candidates. I have had many compliments from candidates in how educated and comprehensive we are in our approach. Candidates are thoroughly prepared before all contact with the client, which truly represents the quality of service we aim to deliver to both our clients and candidates. Sure, some candidates don't get placed but many come back as clients as a result of our efforts. I think that says something.
Cons
Yes, sure it is all commission, but they make that clear before you come on site to interview. Commission rates are much higher than you see in many other firms. Technology is a bit outdated, but if you know how to use it, it still provides value. Onboarding new recruiters needs to be better structured.
