Best thing about the job is that you get to go home at the end of the day. There are a lot of wonderful people working there, just not in accounting.
Cons
You will be blamed, set up to fail and openly and needlessly humiliated in front of coworkers. Childish whispering about you and making you feel unwelcome, yet they want you to be perfect at the job within 2 hours with NO training even though it was promised at the interview. Honestly the most unprofessional company I had the misfortune to work for. All you do all day is call for credit card numbers while others only have to send emails. I saw many negative reviews about this position before I accepted, but I did not heed the warning!
Unprofessional, no formal training, discrimination, harassment by one person in that department. Ask how many people had the position and why the job is vacant. If you dare complain about being stalked or picked on expect retaliation. Don’t expect to be treated like a human being. If you file a complaint, You are expected to have to continue working under the manager while they do their “investigation”.......after I filed the complaint that my supervisor was not teaching me anything, harassing and following me to the bathroom, she miraculously wanted to teach me something the very next day... she taught me “a lesson in how to set me up with a bad phone number so she could make it look like she is actually helpful” Day one would have been the day to teach the worker where to locate a phone number deep into the files. And I did ask more than once for that info. Then she changed the phone number and put it in an email to make me appear stupid. If you don’t agree with her political views prepare to be tortured. The entire department moved to the new area leaving me all alone in the old department. (Punishment for who knows what) Even people who where out sick were moved. I was left until the very last because she knew I was excited to move to the new cubicles. I was followed around /stalked like a toddler, even on my personal breaks. They won’t fire you so you can’t collect....they just make your life stressful and intolerable so that you quit.
