Pros

At HFHI (Habitat's headquarters), you feel a part of inspiring work. Staff surveyed on strategic planning process. It is a prayer-oriented work culture, so some meetings begin with a spiritual reading (which could be a con for some people, but I will list it as a pro). You might be able to work remotely, at least occasionally, depending on manager and team. Good benefits and vacation. One week paid time off for "mission" work after one year of service, to attend a home build/repair in the U.S. or abroad or with another organization.

Cons

Salaries tend to be lower than at comparable international NGOs. Leadership is hit and miss, as with any organization, with some good and others not strong or competent.

Pros

None worst toxic place to work at. Great program poor management.

Cons

Toxic environment, no training, this place does not know how how to value their employees. They treat people based on favortrisiun and not knowledge.
