Pros
I was a part of a great team where my manager really cared about me and every other employee working for him. Enjoyed my work and (overall) was treated fairly.
Cons
Like any other huge/global corporation, when times get tough they turn on their employees, despite your loyalty, effort, or experience. Make no mistake, the stockholders are #1. Laying people off by the thousands but not reducing your dividend is a pretty clear middle-finger to those that have worked hard for Halliburton over the years.
