Pros
I’ve been part of the Halo Dogs team for over three years now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places I’ve worked in my 25+ year career as a veterinary nurse. The level of care, professionalism, and passion here is second to none. From day one, I was welcomed into a supportive and enthusiastic team who genuinely care about the dogs—and each other. The culture is incredibly positive, and there’s a real focus on work-life balance, which is so important in this industry. Management understand that happy staff means happy dogs, and they go out of their way to make sure everyone feels valued. The facilities are outstanding—set across 540 acres of private countryside in North London. Whether it’s our purpose-built training zones, climate-controlled indoor areas, or enrichment-based day care programmes, everything is designed with both dogs and staff in mind. Pay is also well above industry average, which reflects the high standards and dedication expected—but also how much the company values its team. There are real opportunities for growth and development here too, with regular training and support for those who want to progress. Halo Dogs isn’t just a job—it’s a career with a purpose. If you’re passionate about dogs and want to work somewhere that leads the industry in care, facilities, and team culture, I couldn’t recommend it more.
