Pros
Can't say, never met anyone from corporate. There are some really good employees working at Forest Hill Heights, but they were here before Hamister bought it.
Cons
Low pay- minimum wage for dining staff and aides barely make more than that for all the crap (literally) they put up with Understaffed- makes work harder on employees and residents get less care Not invested in employees- Rewarded for good work with pins for work ethic and honesty, etc. We're not five year olds, we're adults- reward us with something we actually care about- money, pto, etc. Not paid for mandatory online training- have to do this on your break or own time Low employee morale because of crap pay and no incentives to work harder. Great staff who have been there several more years- even decades- than me barely make more pay than I do in the same position. High staff turnover (3 people walked right out the door before I left). False advertising- not a luxury establishment, deceptive reviews left online by employee who is responsible for bringing in future residents (and gets sales commissions for it)
