Toxic environment with little support from management - Anonymous employee Hand Picked Hotels Employee Review

Had the opportunity to work with some very friendly colleagues and meet interesting guests. The hotels are often old, but really grand looking buildings to work in.

Often lacked proper training to deliver the high quality of service expected. I only really learned from on-the-job training. Could have benefited from a session explaining how to make the cocktail list for example, before working behind the bar without a lot of support.

Good pay. Meals on duty free.

Poor management and lack of organisation.
