Pros

um, promises of cool things? if i could give this company -5 stars i would

Cons

working for the handel group made me actually feel insane, no lie. higher ups are either non-existent off doing something weird/non work related or in your face. leadership barks at you in obsurd half-thoughts, demanding certain things that are not based in reality. the behind-the-scenes implosion is REAL. this ship is BARELY floating and half of the stuff happening doesn't even seem legal. i feel bad for anyone working there that doesnt know whats actually going on, and for those that do and are still there..... uh.... are you okay? also, i had huuuuge issues with the people working there that seemed to enable/turn a blind eye towards the leaderships erratic and unstable behavior. it's not even subtle. the owner seems truly unwell (which is SAD) and driving the company into the ground, but everyone just keeps scurrying around, cleaning up the mess to save their own paycheck/job- showing that they do not care about the Moneybag's mental health (shame on all of you). it honestly made me sick that everyone kept acting like everything was normal and that owner didn't need actual help. despite owner being somewhat abusive/toxic/completely inappropriate towards everyone, the rest of the staff are just as bad.. i'm pretty sure everyone is just holding their breath that owners won't burn it all to the ground on their way out. i think it was owned by family but that didn't even work out. oh boy. regardless, none of it seems legal/right like i said, especially the way management treats customers, employees and each other. also, the newest rumor is they aren't even giving refunds when clients realize the ship is sinking. like, no refund at all. at all. like, these phonies are charging tens of thousands of dollars for aggressive "life coaching" (LOL). anyone can google it plain as day and see that refunds "will be issued" if they ever want to terminate their contract?!!! i saw someone post something on instagram about handel group not refunding them!!!! over 20k!?!? (watch out handel group, news is apparently spreading about your theft) and all you have to do is google that and dig a around little. like WHAT? Handel group!? give the people their money back!!!??? and to everyone else in the entire GD world, do not give this company any of your money!!!!! when i say, RUN, i mean RUNNNNN. whether youre a potential employee, a current one or just looking for life coaching. do yourself a favor and either a) respect yourself enough to find other work, or b) seek help from a legitimately trained therapist who actually cares about you and won't tell you that losing ten pounds is the only way you'll be happy. if they have any fraction of a decent reputation, it's probably a lie. any positive reviews that pop up when you google are 2000% SEMs (search engine marketing) purchased by the company. big. fat. scam.

Pros

Great to see Lauren Handel back rebuilding her first and original company. Old leadership left a mess and of course, bad reviews. Thankfully she is here to stay and is growing the business how she originally intended.

Cons

Takes time to rebuild a company but she is making it happen.

Pros

Some people on the team were actually decent to work with.

Cons

he whole place runs on who you know, not what you do, and it gets exhausting watching the same people get every good project while everyone else watches from the sidelines. There's this inner circle that just keeps feeding itself and the rest of us are expected to pick up the slack while they take credit for work they didn't even touch — which honestly gets old. No one even pretends it's fair anymore, people just accept it and move on, which is somehow worse because it means nobody's trying to fix it. The real problem is there's actual talent here that gets wasted because being good at your job doesn't matter, it matters if the right person likes you. You can feel the resentment building and people are jumping ship because they're tired of watching the same people fail up the ladder while doing actual work gets you nowhere. It's just depressing to watch a place where merit is treated like a joke.
