Pros

Great benefits. Great location. Free food during lunch. Pay is not bad. Used to be a great place to work... most folks that were great have left or were suddenly laid off, but a couple are still there.

Cons

C-Suite focusing heavily on AI, forcing implementation on teams without thinking about the downward effects, and constantly pushing unreasonable deadlines to improve hiring metrics that don't show the full picture. Director is a yes man to execs and doesn't think about team's workload or feedback... The blind willingness to follow whatever C-Suite wants has caused everyone to burn out and lose inspiration, while the director reaps all the rewards and gets all the pats on the back. Worst part is the Director will take credit for your ideas after you've tirelessly worked hard on it, whether it's a report you made or a new tool you built out and set up. He's done it multiple times. All of us on the team left the meeting feeling appalled the first time it happened, knowing who actually did the work. What was once a team-first environment has become a look-out-for-your-own work environment, where your management will throw you under the bus first instead of having your back... Also not really any room for growth or opportunities to learn. They just overwhelm you with work until you're all burnt out. You're basically just another number there and will be let go or replaced without a second thought.

Pros

It's flexible and sometimes the money is OK. I got paid most of what they owed me.

Cons

Generally disorganized. The task I was on was one of the more highly paid ones but it was almost impossible to actually do in the allotted time. You aren't supposed to use AI but I think people must. The tasks run far over the time they are supposed to take. The human review system also seemed almost arbitrary. Reviewers did not have the subject matter expertise they claimed to. You will make less than the advertised hourly rate because the tasks routinely take longer than they say they will. If they have averages that are lower, those people are either not submitting accurate hours (there is incentive not to) or are using AI to train AI, which is a bigger problem (but not yours).
