Overworked, underpaid. Terrible work life balance - Site Manager Hanesbrands Employee Review

Pros

You get a lot of experience and opportunities that you wouldn’t have at a company that is appropriately allocated resourcing. They don’t track vacation hours but you will be expected to work on vacation if something pops up - which is inevitable. Most people are also very kind and I would say that is the best part was the relationships created.

Cons

Inner-company egos make things difficult to manage because other teams will create roadblocks and everyone believes they are the owners. Not to mention it is not appropriately staffed and everything is a fire drill so you feel like you are spinning your wheels and not getting anything done but working about 70 hours a week.

Pros

Benefits were above average and the campus was a plus.

Cons

Fix growth paths that didn't allow for much room to move up.

Pros

- even though I hated it, we greeted every customer at the door and it’s made a huge difference in my shopping experiences now - good camaraderie with teammates - learned good skills to build my resume while in college

Cons

- It’s a retail job, so it’s the typical retail job - didn’t always give you feedback until your review, so if there was a problem you didn’t know until then that it needed corrected - we were goaled on the reward program…which I understand, but at the same time, just let people say no and let us move on
