Pros

Flexible schedule. Get to work from home.

Cons

No room for growth. Horrible pay and benefits package. cut off 401k match but spent millions on new products while laying off valuable employees. They pile so much work on their part time employees who are paid $12 hr. Take advantage of everyone they can just so at the end of the task they can lay you off. Its pathetic. Management doesnt have a clue about what is going on and doesnt seem to care about any of the employees as long as their job is still there. The company is overall poorly run and its only a matter of time before they file for bankruptcy.

Pros

The best aspect of this job is that most of the research positions allow you to work from home. The company has employees working from home all across the nation and set up all meetings over the internet so there is really no need to ever go into an office. Additionally, the management is fairly easy going and understanding of small schedule changes.

Cons

What's bad about this company largely has to do with the recession as there has been almost no opportunity for advancement either in pay or position within the last three years unless somebody vacates a position. There was a period of overall discouragement as most employees saw reduced wages and significantly reduced hours for most non management positions. Most Research associates were full time at around 15-17 per hour full time but two years ago were reduced to 25 hrs per week at $12 per hour. While there haven't been significant reductions since 2009, most see this position as a resume builder rather than a long term career position.
