Management is toxic. - A Very Unhappy Employee ! Hanscom Federal Credit Union Employee Review

Pros

Since Peter Rice became the CEO Hanscom has become of place of HR intimidation, broken processes, and empty promises. You could be the hardest working employee that meets all of your initiatives and more and you will still be talked down to and micromanaged until you reached your breaking point.

Cons

The culture has turned toxic to its core and it stems from the executive team. They lack leadership, qualifications, and the ability to take ownership of their mistakes. They won’t hesitate to throw their colleagues and even direct reports under the bus in order to transfer the blame elsewhere and HR is always ready and just waiting for their moment to write you up, move you to a different department, terminate you or worse - completely destroy your self worth, which is what happens naturally over time regardless. They promise career development and say they welcome feedback because they “value their employees” but that is only applicable when it serves their own narrative and when it comes from new employees hired for management positions with direct connections to the executives. If you value clear direction, communication, teamwork, and the ability to ask questions and raise concerns without retaliation - please save yourself the trouble and apply elsewhere.
