Pros

Hanzo is a company that can and does adapt to the demands of the marketplace. It is capable of and does deliver new software on the latest technology. The management team are thoughtful, tolerant and caring and have a great strategic vision. If you are on top of your game and have a professional attitude it is one of the hottest tickets on the job market right now in legal tech. If you are less experienced and have the right attitude and aptitude, Hanzo is a great place to grow your skills. Hanzo is a remote first organisation which comes which is all "pro" for the self disciplined.

Cons

Hanzo has recently pivoted into a much stronger and more go-getting company. I am sure that some colleagues find this a challenge to adapt to.

The executive leadership team is a special group of people with incredible experience that you will have first hand exposure to. Not a lot of global companies can say that. Hyper collaborative focus & culture that promotes positivity & creativity. Cons

Pros

Remote working and interesting problems to solve in this industry.

Cons

Clueless slapdash technical leadership and vision, you will be working on projects built with complexity from the ground up that become too big to fail. You’ll be working with people that have no idea how to function within a team that shield themselves and their work from any form of discussion or review until it becomes too much of a priority for it not to be released, which contributes to an atmosphere of chaos and confusion. Putting in extra hours over the weekend or working longer hours is encouraged and spun as being healthy by higher ups. Concerns about how things are shaping up are ignored and made into being some kind of 'personal vendetta' as a way to mask issues and keep stakeholders happy and oblivious. Zero transparency, you'll be at the mercy of whether or not management personally like you as reviews and goals are just a box ticking exercise.
