Pros

Working at Happening Design Studio is an experience unlike any other. The work environment is both fast-paced and collaborative, and creativity is not just encouraged but expected. As an HR Manager, I’ve seen first-hand how much value is placed on individual growth, team learning, and psychological safety. The integration of AI in our design workflows is forward-thinking and sets us apart in the creative industry. Leadership is approachable, open to ideas, and invested in building not just a company, but a culture.

Cons

The pace can be intense, especially during high-priority projects but it pushes you to grow. We’re still evolving some internal systems, which is exciting but also demanding.

Pros

1. The team is collaborative and friendly. Everyone’s approachable and willing to help. 2. The hierarchy is mostly flat, so it's easy to connect with leadership and share ideas or feedback. 3. Communication between teams is open and transparent, which makes working on cross-functional projects much smoother. 4. The working hours are quite flexible.

Cons

1. There are occasional long working hours, especially when project deadlines are tight. 2. Work-life balance can vary depending on the project load and timelines. 3. Project planning sometimes feels rushed or reactive, which can lead to last-minute pressure.

Pros

- Worked on exciting, high-impact projects across domains. - Collaborated with talented designers, developers, and PMs.

Cons

- While the day-to-day experience was largely positive, the offboarding process left a lot to be desired. - After receiving verbal assurance from leadership (Rohan Sridhar) and written confirmation from HR regarding eligibility for variable pay, there has been no final disbursement or resolution despite multiple follow-ups over several months. - The last official response stated the amount would be reprocessed, but no further updates have been provided. - Post-exit communication has been minimal, which creates an unfortunate contrast to the otherwise engaging work culture.
