Pros

They are a growing company so the opportunity for growth is there but moving would be required to do it. Some of the promotions are great and fun for the customer and employees. There is a very nice rate to acquire PTO.

Cons

The schedule changes constantly and to the corporate whims. These tend to effect work/life balance very badly. It will happen sometimes during the current week schedule. There are to many logistic functions that have to happen over night many times the night before a holiday. There does not seem to be much promotion from within. It seems to be a lot of hiring outside the company to fill key positions. There are times when many sales promotions are running at the same time. It confuses the customer and employees.

We are growing and have so many opportunities for associates to learn new skills sets and areas of responsibility and we take great pride in being able to promote our associate as we grow and open new locations. We are always looking for ways to improve our processes and people so I will make sure to share your feedback with the appropriate team members for review. Keep up the good work, we appreciate you and your store team and couldn't do it without you.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
