Pros

The benefits package is pretty good especially the medical which has helped me many times. Parking lot sales they feed you along with a Christmas party. Some days the work is very easy and you're looking for things to do to pass the time. It can be fun and challenging a lot of days.

Cons

The hours are pretty brutal. Feel like there is no balance between work and life. Being a night owl makes it hard on the body. Pushing logistics to get email numbers is stressful. If I'm a back up cashier and we both have lines of eight I will not ask each customer if they get our catalog. If not would they like to join. If they do what is there phone number. Oh no email? Let me add that for you. On top of trying to get them to join a yearly paid membership and replacement plans on certain items. Customers want a quick checkout and not waste time answering questions. I need to get back to my job and make sure I finish everything in a timely matter before I leave fo the day.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
