Pros
-Hardlight has made some great mobile games and continues to aim high with its projects. -The culture is one of learning and improvement. Employees are encouraged to contribute, learn, and improve the way games are made at the studio. -The studio has a small company feel but with the perks of working for a much bigger organisation. -Flat management structure and autonomous teams gives staff a lot of creative freedom. -There is a wealth of talent in the studio and access to some great IP. -The studio has a healthy attitude when it comes to work life balance. Periods of overtime are kept to a minimum and any extra time invested is given back afterwards. -The company arranges a number of fun events throughout the year and also invests in its employees by sending them to various conferences and shows. -The location (Leamington Spa) is a lovely place and the office itself is a great environment.
Cons
-Being part of the wider SEGA group can be great giving opportunity to travel and get involved with other games teams across the globe. However at times this can also add extra hurdles during development.
