Pros

Room to advance Good location

Cons

Upper management places a strong emphasis on work commitment, often expecting employees to prioritize work above all else. Unfortunately, there is minimal support when it comes to managing high workloads, and expectations remain high regardless of personal or professional circumstances. There is a good amount of favoritism, with friends and family of ownership placed in key roles. This creates a sense of exclusion for those not within the inner circle, and flexibility with your schedule and work life balance is generally not extended unless you have a close relationship with leadership. Compensation is below industry standards considering the volume of work required, and any raises may come with a significantly increased work load. The office culture and drama can be difficult to navigate. Confidential conversations are often not kept private, and there is a lack of collaboration or trust among colleagues. Self-preservation tends to take precedence over teamwork, which can lead to a toxic atmosphere.

Pros

Great place to grow if you’re motivated and willing to learn. The environment is fast-paced and the workload can be heavy, but there’s a strong support system in place and team members are willing to help when needed. As a Jr. Account Manager, I’ve had opportunities to develop professionally, take on responsibility, and gain valuable experience quickly. There’s definitely room for growth for people who put in the effort.

Cons

The workload can sometimes make work-life balance challenging, especially during busy periods. The pace of the job requires strong time management and the ability to adapt quickly. While the demands can feel overwhelming at times, the experience and career growth opportunities make it feel worthwhile in the long run.

Pros

Good work location and steady workload. You gain experience quickly because there is always work to be done.

Cons

There is a noticeable amount of favoritism, and it can feel difficult to succeed if you are not part of the “inner circle.” Many upper management employees are related or closely connected, which creates an unfair environment for others. Pay is below industry standards, especially considering the workload and expectations placed on employees. There are also serious concerns regarding workplace behavior and sexual harassment, and employees may feel uncomfortable speaking up due to fear of retaliation.
