Pros

Colleagues are mostly nice. Some TLs will have your back (not all)

Cons

If you have any kind of ongoing/chronic illness, don't work here. Trying to explain chronic illness symptoms to the company is like trying to explains aliens to a newborn. They have very low triggers for sick days for 'support', but it's really to end up firing people with chronic illnesses. They expect you to not take time off sick because its a burden on the company, but if you work through your illness and struggle to reach targets, you're also a burden. They brought out a system months ago without full accessibility features, and knew this when they rushed it out. Then when people who needed those accessibility features struggled, the company made out like it was a YOU problem, not on them. The company says they care about your wellbeing and mental health, but a lot of TLs and managers are so obsessed with the company and profit for directors bonuses that they put employee wellbeing to the bottom of their list. Morale has been horrifically low for a while, but instead of paying proper wages or looking to take better care of employees, the company rushed out a micromanagement system and got weirdly obsessed with control. If you're thinking of working there, save yourself a breakdown and run. If you're stuck there now, this is your sign to get off the sinking ship.

Pros

People have always been the best thing about HL people are really nice and eager to help at least within Operations. Pension contributions is decent as well.

Cons

A lot of cons however Helpdesk and Operations are micromanaged a lot more then the other department as they use a real time management system however any level above those teams its none existent and ControlIQ is used as a way me to put stupid mandatory targets such as productivity. Even though they care for quality they want the tasks done in faster times and expect you to be a robot. Upper management make decision that make no sense and don't consult the actual teams involved in the changes and my team even worse giving us no time to train the spltting team and then complain about SLA times. They are planning on changing Office days 2 to 3 which didn't need to be changed and a majority of the company disagrees with as it's been this way for 6 years. Promotions and moving is not existent roles are few far to come by and is used more external candidates from LinkedIn. The only way to move up and out is sucking up management or having a connection. Please do not work here unless your desperate or need a job for money it's not worth the headache.
