They give you a great speech about expanding, building brands etc. however no one would give me a straight answer. Anyway I got past the initial stage and then I was invited to a training day. This entailed me sitting in a café thinking up 'marketing slogans' while my 'manager' tried to get people to sign up to giving to charities on the street!
No one would give me a straight answer but what I gleaned was -
It's a self employed basis
You will need to pay to get to 'work' in Dundee and Glasgow etc. But, hey, it's tax deductible!
During these times you don't need to go home as you all get to 'stay together' which you pay for, so I'm assuming it's a hostel or really cheap b&b.
It's not a really serious job. Everyone appears to become a manager after a set time - is this some kind of pyramid scheme???
If any of the above is wrong then it's all because NO ONE would give me a straight answer - and, most worryingly, that included about how much I would actually earn (the ad said starting salary of 17,500)
