Pros

None. Interning at any fashion PR showroom is tough because it's basically unpaid retail, but definitely don't work here. You might as well work at a fashion PR term that's actually known, so at least your resume will look good.

Cons

The leader of the company was so unprofessional. Interning there for three days was one of the worst experiences of my life. Every time a client walked out of the showroom and every time she got off the phone with a client, she criticized them immensely. She threw hangers across the room when she was angry. She told all the interns to NEVER start a business (how uplifting? What an inspiring boss..?) She talked about her old business partner who left to get married/start a family, so negatively, and every 30 mins as if her ex-partner's decisions were a personal attack. She made all the interns buy photoshop and did not reimburse them. When the interns quit (being around the boss while not being compensated - because it's an unpaid internship - was not worth it), she blocked them from the business' social media. Her attitude was entirely negative and not conducive to a productive work environment. It was borderline scary.

Pros

Only pro was being exposed to celebrity stylist. Thats it.

Cons

This experience was beyond the worst. The manager was so negative and aggressive it was scary. Constantly talked down to the team and reminded me "I was not like the USC girls". She is very unprofessional and hot headed. Very hostile work environment. I recommend you consider any other option than this. She has different interns every week due to making everyone uncomfortable, including her business partner. I noticed now she now runs the business on her own, let that be your warning. Not worth the drive to get yelled at.
