Disproportionate distribution of staff/seniors/managers leading to much cross over between duties. Unclear salary progression across promotions. Less presence than the Big 4 accounting firms

You can get your foot in the door with both audit and tax experience. Overall friendly team members to work with, and managers/partners willing to help.

Culture can be better, there are many pick favorites moments and not everyone gets to be on great projects, which can be hard during busy times. No true HR department to help employees when potential HR violations were happening.
