Pros
- The patient population is "down to earth" - Great co-workers - lots of PTO- and they let you actually take it - Great benefits - PRN rate for weekends - Inservices for CEUs - somewhat flexibility in schedules - Manager is caring and flexible, but not overbearing
Cons
- salary - some pts are challenging - bilingual skills are not required but really helpful - Mandatory 2 saturdays with every quarter - challenging when census is high and staffing is low (around the holidays especially) - some staff (all around hospital) are just plain lazy
