Pros

Part-time employees and full-time employees are eligible for benefits. Generally pays better starting wages than other companies in the industry. The store I work at has caring management. Absolutely amazing, in-depth customer service/job training.

Cons

Cashiers (I started as one) aren't hired to work full-time. Scanning Coordinators have to work some long days (while not going over 40 hours a week!), including one overnight shift that could be 5 hours long or 15 hours long (longer at some stores)- and you don't know when you'll leave until you do leave. Some work is busy-work. The job isn't very challenging- most of the time is spent hanging tags (which physically hurts my left hand) or scanning thousands of items with a scanning gun.

Pros

Decent people, make connections, pay, and hours are just okay.

Cons

Management sucks. If you fall victim to bullying, nobody cares/does anything. Working there from 16 to now (barely anymore), it was hard to be happy at all about going in when working with a specific manager who constantly nitpicked and talked behind your back.
