Pros

I worked there for almost 13 years. They kinda reel people in with the bonus payouts and bragging about the "open door policy". I have to say that the bonus for management is exceptional. There are store managers that care about their people as well. If you are lucky you will be in one of those stores!

Cons

The insurance is great but not affordable. The bigger the company gets the more greedy they are. This is true with all companies but it speaks loudly to hourly department managers when upper management is flown to the Bahamas for 3 days, yet we are held to strict budgets with zero OT under any circumstance. They claim that customers are number one but they definitely have a dog and pony show that is way more important to them any time than a customers perspective. The biggest fear is a complaint! As long as they don't leave the store, it's swept under the rug. When they call the 1-800 number it becomes important. I am sure that ANYONE reading this is shaking their head in agreement.

Pros

Decent people, make connections, pay, and hours are just okay.

Cons

Management sucks. If you fall victim to bullying, nobody cares/does anything. Working there from 16 to now (barely anymore), it was hard to be happy at all about going in when working with a specific manager who constantly nitpicked and talked behind your back.
