Company has financial challenges due to emerging from bankruptcy a few years ago and personnel challenges due to the nature of the business--heavy seasonal hiring. Leadership team has had to make difficult choices and some employees have not been able to accept or adapt. I understood these things when I accepted a position as a department manager and have seen steady progress during the past two years. Company has great products, a loyal customer base and a long and respected history. I feel that I make a positive contribution every day--very rewarding.
