Pros

Decent Benefits Great paid holidays in the summer low season Nice people working in a boiler-room atmosphere. Decent discounts on products. Plenty of gourmet food and confection sampling to keep your mouth watering!

Cons

Vastly under-resourced and overworked merchandising team. No time off during Christmas holidays, but that's to be expected, so not exactly a con. Trying to maximize output with minimum staff, which puts teams on edge and into a "CYA" mentality. Annual late spring layoffs and restructuring takes its toll on teams and staff not able to feel comfortable or safe in positions, fear of being laid off after decades of serving the company loyally and adeptly. Very little room for upward mobility. Currently in a salary freeze, so very little merit pay increases allowed.
